Hi there! The kinkmeme is now bookmarked on tagged on Delicious and I wanted to talk a little about how the tagging works, particularly regarding kinks.

The kinkmeme is for any kink you can think of, even if it's not something you think is kinky. However, when you leave a prompt you need to list at least one kink so your prompt and any fills for it can be tagged properly on the Delicious account. If all you're looking for is some cuddling or some vanilla sex, those are perfectly acceptable kinks, so go ahead and include them in your prompt.

If you don't list a kink, you'll be asked for one, or we'll just extrapolate from the prompt. If you simply can't think of a kink that matches your idea, you can use something really generic, like "relationship" or "emotional" or "narrative" (which is often used for gen prompts). For tagging purposes we consider tropes to be kinks as well, so bear that in mind.

Also, when leaving character names, please use full names. It makes it much easier to tag your prompts and fills.

I do have an additional request for people leaving bandom prompts. Please include the name of the band somewhere in your prompt because the librarian tagging that particular post might not know every person in every band and we want to include the band name in the fandom tag for those prompts. (For example--"fandom:bandom_mcr")

In addition to the kink tags, we tag by character, pairing, fandom, genre, and warnings. We also have two organizational tags--!prompt and !fill.. You can also subscribe via RSS to any given set of tags.
